The innovation in sport science & healthcare (ISSH)
International Scientific Journal “Innovations in Sport Science and Healthcare” is an international, refereed, and peer-reviewed scientific journal, which is founded on the basis of the Georgian State University of Sports. The university has been serving the development of knowledge and interdisciplinary research in the fields of sports science and coaching for 90 years. The journal is published in both online and print formats.
Goals and Objectives
The journal aims to become a trusted and influential platform for interdisciplinary research in sports science and health, which will:
- Promote the creation and dissemination of new, evidence-based scientific knowledge;
- Encourage collaboration between researchers, academic institutions, and professional organizations at the local and international levels;
- Support the professional development of young scientists and researchers;
- Promote the integration of theoretical and practical research, which will create a basis for the development of innovations both in the competitive direction of sports and in the context of sport as a mechanism for health promotion and disease prevention;
