Information

The internationalization of education is one of the most important priorities for the Georgian State Sports University (GSSU). Our goal is to promote the global integration of the university and offer students and staff a unique international experience, in accordance with the university’s internationalization strategy.

To implement international programs, the Sports University actively cooperates with leading universities in Europe and Asia. Currently, the Sports University has 22 partner universities in 13 countries, which creates diverse opportunities for our university community.

GSSU is registered in the single database of participants of the European Commission’s Erasmus+ program for the development of education, training, youth and sport.

We also actively participate in the Erasmus+ Sport competition. This initiative promotes cooperation between sports organizations and institutions from EU member states and partner countries in the development of sports (sports, management, organization of sports events, etc.) and sports science.

The International Relations and Development Office, based on bilateral cooperation with partner universities, implements short-term training courses and scholarship programs, which further diversify our international offers.
