Editorial Board Policy
The international scientific journal “Innovations in Sports Science and Health” fully shares the principles and recommendations of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
The editorial board consists of recognized researchers and experts from international and local academic circles. They are selected based on scientific experience and reputation, using transparent and objective criteria.
Composition of the Board
- Professors and researchers from various universities and research institutes;
- International experts who provide a global perspective on the journal’s topics;
- Practitioners whose experience enhances the practical relevance of the research.
The main responsibilities of the Editorial Board
- Promoting the strategic development of the journal and adhering to international standards;
- Supervising the quality of the review process – maintaining fairness, objectivity and anonymity;
- Supporting scientific and ethical standards and implementing best practices (in accordance with the COPE Code);
- Preventing conflicts of interest and ensuring transparency;
- Fair treatment of authors and reviewers, without discrimination, by eliminating conflicts of interest;
- Promoting the journal and deepening cooperation with the academic community.
Ethics and Independence
The Editorial Board, under the leadership of the Editor-in-Chief, makes independent decisions about the scientific significance, quality of articles, and relevance to the journal’s goals.
All members are required to adhere to the COPE Ethical Guidelines and to promote a fair and transparent editorial process.
The main functions of the editorial board are
